Wisdom from Children :)
Many people are instinctively drawn to a certain type of pets, plants or humans. In my case, I just love being around children, particularly from the ages of 0 to 5. Since I was a teenager, I have been volunteering at several children's hospitals and YMCAs so that I can be close to them. I connect more with them than anyone or anything else due to their divine energy. When they smile and laugh, my whole being just lights up! I want to give each child the best I can. One of my purposes is to serve on projects when I can interact and empower children around the world.
Below are the reasons that I love being around children:
-
They are authentic and honest with their words, emotions and actions. They speak without filter what is on their mind or act in a genuine manner. They express transparently whatever they are feeling at the moment without holding back. Many times, they give you a new perspective when they speak, which is refreshing. They truly live by the "honesty is the best policy" motto, which helps reduce confusion and miscommunication.
-
They have divine vibrations. You can immediately feel this magical energy when you are in the presence of a child. They have an awakened soul and are constantly connected to the source of consciousness until the child is externally conditioned and fully develop their ego.
-
They do not judge nor discriminate. When these children meet anyone, they don't formulate opinions or play any importance on color of physical traits, different ethnicities, social status or other things. They see everyone equally. As long as the children can have fun with the other individual, they are happy.
-
They have limitless imagination and curiosity. A quote by Walt Disney that I always believe best describes the value of their imagination is: “Our greatest national resource is the minds of our children." It seems as though there is a constant flow of creativity that is going through those little beings and it is so fascinating to listen to all the fresh new ideas that they share. They don't question their dreams, but believe and trust them because they are an expression of their soul.
-
They don't hold any grudges nor resentment. Even if they fight among each other, they tend to forgive and forget the incident very quickly, and move forward as though nothing has happened. It seems as though they don't have time for any grudges nor resentments as they just want to be happy all the time.
-
They love and care for us no matter what. They seem to know how to genuinely and wholeheartedly express their love for us through their hug, smile, or other ways. Their love warms our hearts and souls.
-
They learn so quickly and easily. They are like sponges that absorb everything that they are in contact with. This is because their prefrontal cortex of the brain, where working memory is stored, is more developed during childhood. This means that they have much more active neurons that form connections when learning new things.
-
They know how to have a simple and fun life. Children are simple in their thinking and acting. And they keep everything very lighthearted and amuse in the moment. They don't overcomplicate nor overthink anything.
-
They have no fears nor worries. Have you noticed that children take risks all day without any concerns? They are not afraid to fall over, roll in mud or climb a tree. If they fall, they just get back up and continue. If they get dirty, they clean themselves up. They are experiencing life hands on.
-
They live in the present moment. They don't think about the past nor the future. They are focused and living in the now because presence is their whole natural state. They remind us what is the true essence of life and its beauty. They engage their senses to absorb the splendour of nature, such as the wind in their hair, and enjoy that moment.
